New Executive Director

Hope for Henry has its first full-time executive director. This is big.

Laurie Strongin, our co-founder, is leaving Fannie Mae where she has worked in community development at the foundation and then the company for many years to devote her indefatigable energies completely to Hope for Henry.

Hooray!

One of Laurie's first orders of business was to take the Superhero Celebration directly to the patients at Georgetown Hospital who weren't well enough to join the festivities last month at the AFI Theatre. We hear that Superman took a quick break from saving civilization from evil-doers to go along with Laurie up to see the kids on the 5th floor.
